First off, I detest the term “2.0″. It is overused and then some. If the term was being abused last year, then this year the term is being subject to abuse 2.0…
Nonetheless, I feel the need to use the term in this current scenario. I didn’t want to. But alas I have no choice in the matter!
GlobalScholar.com is an online tutoring site. And while there are similar sites of this genre, GlobalScholar.com is truly unique for many reasons, several of which I will enumerate off the cuff.
On GlobalScholar.com the student and parent have the option to choose an online tutor based on:
1) availability
2) price
3) experience
4) ratings & reviews
Unlike a typical situation where you walk into a brick and mortar tutoring establishment and are presented with a tutor, GlobalScholar.com gives you the freedom to choose who you want as a tutor. Unlike TutorVista.com which offers tutors in India and relies on an off shoring business model, on GlobalScholar.com you can choose a tutor who lives in the USA.
GlobalScholar.com also offers a variety of tutoring models.
1) Instant Tutoring - this is the on-demand version of tutoring
2) Scheduled Tutoring - this is the scheduled version of tutoring
3) Homework Help - this is an asynchronous tutoring model
4) Self-Guided Courses - this is content based tutoring
Hope you enjoyed the post. Will do my best to keep you informed!

my stomach is hurting. i just had cereal and milk for supper. the toast is still basking from the remnant toaster warmth. and here i am; in pj’s. writing about a site.
so, the thing is that there are many directory sites for online colleges. elearners.com is a good example. in fact, if you make a google search for the term “online college“, elearners.com will show up first. followed by the university of capella.
generally, websites in this vertical refrain from overtly displaying the cost of obtaining an online degree. for many reasons. the simplest being that it might scare people away. anyways, a site I worked on is all about displaying the cost and credits for an online degree. in fact, the site even allows you to compare online college degrees.
and in case you needed proof, here;s a screen shot:

Who I am? Who are you? What the hell is going on?
Me? I am just your average guy. With a dream of making it in the entertainment world.
Problem is, I have no connections. My daddy isn’t rich. And my mommy isn’t Sharon Stone.
Only one guy can help me. And his name is Ari Gold.
Ari Gold is the baddest talent agent to ever walk this town.
My hope is that Ari Gold will Google himself, discover my blog and decide to give me a chance!
Let’s hug it out!
